To my Mum,

Happy Mother’s Day! You have been my biggest fan through every single stage of my life. Most importantly, thank you for encouraging me to follow my dreams. When most people would write off my admittedly somewhat unrealistic ideas, you always told me they were great and to go for it.

While you and Dad have worked so hard to give me the greatest life possible, you also reminded me that nothing worth doing comes easy and you have always pushed me to work for the things I want, rather than to expect them.
I think the hardest part of moving to Paris was leaving you in Sydney and I know it was hard for you too. Some of my best memories from Australia are the simplest ones. Walking with you from Manly to Shelly beach and sitting on the grass and talking for hours about everything and nothing and all my grand plans. Sometimes I’m reminded of those moments when I smell the flowers here in Paris during the spring and it takes me back. And when I wear Tubéreuse Hédonie from the new Roger Gallet perfume collection I can be reminded of you everyday.

Everyone knows where my hard head and stubbornness come from (thanks dad) but you taught me perhaps the most important lesson in life. Kindness. I am not afraid to stand up for my beliefs and I have dad to thank for this, but because of you, I can deal with all the setbacks and disappointments that have also hit me from time to time along this crazy journey called life.
Thank you for always believing in me. There’s nothing I want more than to make you proud and to spoil you as much as i can. Roger&Gallet’s Extraits de Cologne collection is my gift to you this year, a gift that would also pleased mums around the world reminding them smells of happiness.

You have always supported my decisions. You are the most selfless person I know and I couldn’t be more thankful.
I wouldn’t be the woman I am today if it weren’t for you. So, thank you for absolutely everything.
Love,
Anna xxx
