Hey mes petits dreamers,

Today I discovered le Tour de France and that I should have bought a rain coat.

The tour is the oldest and most prestigious cycling event in the world.  Held every year in July the race consists of a three-week-long competition winding and climbing through the mountain chains of the Pyrenees and the Alps and finishing on the Champs-Élysées in Paris.

I should probably go into more detail about the actual race itself, but you have fox sports for that 😉 .  Today I went along to get amongst the electric atmosphere and to soak up the excitement of the last day of this great race cheering on these impressive athletes as they cross the finish line.

As I watched the competitors pass me by at a million miles an hour I couldn’t help but feel incredibly inspired imagining the physical and mental challenges they would have had to overcome over the past 3 weeks of competition. God, I’m too afraid to even get on a bike in Paris. Serious respect.

Still getting lost in the right direction.

The calm before the cyclist storm.

Some guy on a horse. Oops it’s actually Joan of Arc.
